This site uses cookies for analytics purposes only. It does not run advertising or retargeting scripts, and does not use cookies to build advertising profiles.
1. Cookies we set
We use Google Analytics, which sets a small number of first-party cookies (typically named _ga and _ga_<container-id>) to distinguish visitors and measure usage. These cookies don't contain your name or contact details directly, but Google Analytics is not cookieless — see below for how to control it.
2. Analytics tools we use
We currently run two analytics tools side by side:
- Umami — cookieless. It reports anonymized, aggregate counts (which pages get visited, roughly how much traffic comes from where) without setting any cookie or building a profile of you.
- Google Analytics (GA4) — uses the cookies described above to measure traffic and usage in more detail. Data collected is processed by Google under its own privacy policy.
3. Other third-party resources
The site loads typeface files from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com) and the Google Analytics and Umami scripts themselves from their respective providers' servers. Loading any of these causes your browser to make a request to that provider, which — like any web request — exposes your IP address to it.
4. Controlling cookies
You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser's settings, which will stop Google Analytics from tracking your visits (Umami is unaffected either way, since it doesn't use cookies). Google also provides a dedicated browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics across all sites that use it.
5. Links to other sites
Links from this site (for example, to LinkedIn, X/Twitter, or our booking calendar) take you to third-party sites with their own cookie and privacy practices, which we don't control.
6. If this changes
If we add advertising cookies or other tracking beyond what's described here, we'll update this page and provide a way to control your preferences before those cookies are set.
